If you have a mail server that can use DNSbl lists (sometimes known as RBL lists, or DNS Blacklists), you can take advantage of their ip4r based lookup system.
DNSbl zone name: dnsbl.ahbl.org
Format of queries: Take IP address wishing to be checked, reverse the octets (1.2.3.4 becomes 4.3.2.1) and prepended to the zone above.
Example query: 2.0.0.127.dnsbl.ahbl.org
Please contact AHBL before using their list by e-mailing admins@2mbit.com. If you are a large provider with many customers, or are planning to do more then 100,000 queries per day, you must contact AHBL to confirm that this is ok. They may require you to setup your own AHBL mirror server locally to reduce the load on their systems.
For providers who use our DNSbl service, you must make sure to alert your customers to the fact that you are using our service on the support pages or signup pages with a link to our website. Your customers have a right to know what methods you are using to filter their e-mail.
Disclaimer: AHBL can not, and will not be held responsible for any lost e-mail due to you using our list. By using our list, you explicitly agree to accept full responsibility for any actions that result due to the usage of our list.
