Scanned by Declude
JunkMail does NOT mean that your mail is spam We are NOT a government agency. We do NOT block any e-mail or list IPs We do NOT see your e-mail We do NOT decide if your e-mail is spam We did NOT 'intercept' your e-mail We do NOT run any blacklists You do NOT have our software running on your home computer We do NOT sell software to end users Declude software can NOT be operated by third parties E-mail that you receive does NOT go through our servers
If you have an e-mail which has www.declude.com
in the headers or body of an e-mail you received, the e-mail was probably
not from us and never went through any of our servers, so we have no control
over it.
If a message bounced and you see the Scanned by Declude JunkMail,
the problem is probably that you sent the e-mail to an account that DOES
NOT EXIST (or your e-mail provider is being blocked by the organization
you are sending mail to).
We also have no control over what mail servers are listed in spam databases such as
Declude JunkMail includes many different spam tests, we have no control over which spam tests are run on any system, or how the spam is handled; that is up to our customers (your e-mail provider) to decide.
What Declude does do ?
Many people receive lots of unwanted E-mail, and welcome spam filtering. Spam is a serious problem -- for example, billions of pornographic E-mails are sent to unsuspecting children each year. And, it takes end users MILLIONS of hours each year just to delete all the spam they receive.
We sell software to companies to help reduce the amount of unwanted e-mail that their users (you) receive, to help reduce their (and your) costs. The software scans e-mail for spam and/or viruses. Your e-mail goes through exactly the same servers as it used to, except that there is now software that attempts to determine whether e-mail is spam.
Some e-mail providers let all spam through, while some block some legitimate mail. Only the company providing your e-mail address has the ability to scan your e-mail. Some of our customers (your e-mail provider) choose:
To block a fair amount of spam, while allowing virtually all legitimate mail to go through. Block a lot of spam, while allowing some legitimate but spam-like E-mail to get caught as well. Mark spam using the Subject: header, others delete the E-mail Add a warning to the headers Scan only incoming e-mail Scan both incoming and outgoing e-mail. Allow all e-mail to go through, while just logging the spam.
However, if you prefer not to have your E-mail scanned, you should talk
to (your e-mail provider) which runs the E-mail server you use, and they
may be able to assist you. If you feel that you have a legitimate need
to contact us, you can bypass the auto-response by sending an E-mail to
bypass (at) declude.com
